Mission Viejo was laid out as a master-planned community starting in the late 1960s, and many of its homes are now 40 to 55 years old. Inland from the coast, it gets properly hot in summer, and a lot of houses still rely on AC systems and ductwork that were replaced once, if at all. Around Lake Mission Viejo and in neighborhoods like Casta del Sol and Aegean Hills, we regularly find leaky ducts and thin attic insulation working against an aging unit.
Sky Clean Air has recently expanded into Orange County, and our Mission Viejo customers get the same crew and standards we've built over years of San Diego work. We clean air ducts and dryer vents, repair and install AC and heating systems, and add attic insulation to cut down on that late-afternoon heat. If your system is older than about 15 years, we'll walk you through repair versus replacement honestly, with a written price before any work.
What We See in Mission Viejo Homes
- Inland summer heat means AC runs hard from July into October.
- Homes from the late 1960s–80s often need attic insulation topped up.
- Older duct runs lose cool air before it reaches the far rooms.
